NEW SECTION - 4 : 21st CENTURY ACTIVITY USING HIGH ORDER THINKING SKILL

The six thinking hats is a tool to boost the productivity of creative thinking by dividing up the different styles of thinking into six "hats": logic, emotion, caution, optimism, creativity, and control. Each person, or team, takes on the role of a hat, ensuring that all viewpoints and styles are covered.

All in all, this approach tries to assist in decision making process by teaching the brain to look at a problem from a variety of angles.

By considering things from a different perspective may help you find new solution to a complex situation or challenge. The ‘Six Thinking Hats’ model, introduced thirty years ago by Dr. Edward de Bono, a prominent English psychologist for developing ‘Lateral thinking’ techniques, suggests examining a situation from different viewpoints to get a more rounded approach.
